The Most Important Knowledge Theme № 1 «IN THE BEGINNING OF ALL BEGINNINGS»

The most important knowledge that a man living on the earth can get. What kind of knowledge is it? The most important knowledge is the knowledge that helps us to avoid death and find eternal life… “In the beginning of all beginnings” there is God. So, whatever appears in the universe: either the birth of Christ, or the creation of a world or the earth, for those who appear in time there will sound the words “in the beginning for you there is God”. Because He had already been. And as soon as you open your eyes, conditionally, when your being starts, the first thing you come across is He Who created you. And for Jesus it is He Who gave birth to Him. In the beginning God was. It was so, it is so, it will be so forever. Because God is the source of any kind of life.

 The Most Important Knowledge Theme № 2 «GOD’S CHARACTER»

Our Lord’s character… What is the character of the everlasting God Almighty? What is His character like? Can we find out, what the character of the eternal all-powerful God is, or can’t we? It is interesting that there is a close interconnection between the character and the deeds. The deeds of any person are determined by his character. But we can make a reverse conclusion: by the deeds we can judge about the character of him who has done them… Our God’s character is not a caprice, what is characteristic of people. But these are steadfast principles. And it is very important for us to understand this. God tells about Himself in such words, “For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed” Malachi 3:6.

The Most Important Knowledge Theme № 3 «EVERLASTING GOSPEL»

EVERLASTING GOSPEL The everlasting gospel is God’s plan of salvation of the sinful creation. What is God saving us from? God saves us not just from the death. God saves us from the everlasting destruction. Because the Scripture teaches us that after the fall we all die, everyone who was born on the earth will die in any case… The everlasting gospel is nothing but the way to eternity, the door to Heaven. That is, each man today can come through this door, enter the kingdom of God, and never die. And God, according to His great love and mercy, invites us to do this. He says, “I haven’t closed the door before you, it is opened. You can accept My invitation and inherit everlasting life.”

The Most Important Knowledge Theme № 4 «WHY THE SON AND NOT THE FATHER?»

WHY THE SON AND NOT THE FATHER? There is a ladder thrown down to the earth, there is a plan of salvation and each one who wants, can come to God today. This ladder has been thrown down already. The everlasting gospel is fulfilled through the Son of God. “The everlasting gospel is the plan of salvation of the sinful and still sinning mankind from sin and death through the restoration of the relations between mortal man and immortal God!”… God Who ought to support the life of the universe constantly, could not become a hundred percent man and along with this remain a hundred percent God. Two hundred percent cannot be. Only one hundred percent can be. So, where is the way out? How can the conflict be solved between the responsibility for the life of the universe, which did not sin, and the desire to save mankind, which did sin? It looks like a deadlock…

The Most Important Knowledge Theme № 5 «THE BIBLE ABOUT CHRIST»

It is important to know this, while reading the Scriptures: “He who has understood the EVERLASTING GOSPEL, will be able to gather all the themes of the Bible into one and see the beauty of God’s Truth!”… The center of the EVERLASTING GOSPEL will be the sacrifice of God, Who gave the most precious He had, His Only Begotten Son, as an offering for the sins of men, the root of which is mistrust to God. And all this is for the restoration of trust and for giving the revolted and dying Creation what God Himself possesses, that is, namely — EVERLASTING LIFE. In the God’s Word which reveals the plan of salvation Who will be the central Personality? Jesus, God’s Son. He Himself told about this, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” (John 5:39)

The Most Important Knowledge Theme № 6 «THE SECOND BIRTH»

God began to fulfill the plan of salvation with the mutual participation of man. God lends His helping hand to people so that they could get free from sin that had led to this catastrophe. We are born sinners and there’s nothing to do with it. The law, the reasons and the consequences cannot be ignored, and nothing clean can be born from the unclean, but this law also maintains that the clean gives birth to the clean; and the Scripture tells us about the other birth: “Whosoever is born from God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” (1John 3:9)… God says: if you do not oppose Me, if you believe Me, then you will surely be born for the second time. Our trust without resistance to the processes, put by God into our first birth, allowed us to come into this world. Push off from the first experience and do not resist the second birth and you are sure to be born again…

The Most Important Knowledge Theme № 7 «REPENTANCE»

“There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose уе that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay: but, except you repent, уе shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think уе that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except you repent, уе shall all likewise perish.” (Luke, chapter 13: verses 1-5)… Christ is not speaking about the past but about the present, talking with us about the real time, in which we live. “Do you want to perish like them?” If not, then repent, that is learn a lesson for yourselves from the past. Jesus wants us to know how to do it. He does want us to know it. We need to learn lessons from history. Each man living on the earth must learn this, especially believers… The Son of God began His public ministry with the message of repentance. He said such words: “…The time is fulfilled, and a kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye and believe the gospel.” (Mark, chapter 1: verse 15). Notice what He says: repent and then believe. Why not vice versa? Why not believe and then repent? No. Repent and then believe. It is an interesting moment…

The Most Important Knowledge Theme № 8 «HOW TO FOLLOW CHRIST?»

Christ said such words about being interested in each man: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”. (Matthew 11:28). “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16). “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” (John 12:32)… The Bible teaches us that sinful people know themselves and their spiritual possibilities so badly, that though they declare that they are ready to overcome all the trials, at the moment of the trial they betray the Lord and deny Him. The brightest example is the example of the Apostle Peter… Peter thought that he was ready for anything for the Lord, for any trial. But one cannot deceive the Lord, as he can deceive people, because the Lord knows the man’s heart. That is why the Scripture tells us: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.” (Jeremiah 17:9,10)…

The Most Important Knowledge Theme № 9 «BUILDING A SPIRITUAL HOUSE ON A STONE»

“And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: he is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.” (Luke 6:46-49)… Christ’s parable about the two builders tells us that we, Christians, even if we are longing to be saved, must remember that not all the wishes of the believers will be realized… There will be many of them, who wished to be saved, but they will perish, and to them are the words of Jesus applied: “Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven.” From this parable, we can see that one part of the believers will establish the right relations with God, and the other part will unfortunately perish, as they did not do in their spiritual life, what God expected from them…

The Most Important Knowledge Theme № 10 «PRAY THAT YE ENTER NOT INTO TEMPTATION»

While reading the Bible, we discover that both the way to God, and the way to the destruction, are not like an even road, but they have steps: on the right way the believer grows in God up to the perfection in love. In other words, if I choose the right way I should understand that I will have growth like by the stairs: step by step I go up higher and higher, it is not an even road… But the way to the destruction also has steps, and a man, going down by them, becomes worse and worse on the way to death… We must understand on which step of destruction it is not yet late to stop. That is, where and how it is possible to resist the devil and to say “No.”… It is very important to understand, that the Bible states that the temptation which turns into sin, comes not from the eyes or hands themselves, they are just the instruments that fulfill the will of a man… Thanks to the prayer not the world around us changes, but thanks to the prayer we change in this world. Christ says, “I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil in this world.” So prayer keeps us from evil. God talks with us on the spiritual level. When we pray God speaks to us not with His voice, but when we pray, the Spirit of God talks to our spirit. In other words, God appeals to our conscience. And at the moment of prayer we begin to realize, to understand something. And something inside us changes, something, that no one instrument in the world can fix… Without a prayer, which endows a man with the strength of God, the man will remain with his own strength… Praying in the Spirit is when we humbly accept the will of God. A man is praying with a clean heart. He wants to be changed, and he will be changed. It cannot be differently. God promised…
